On the shortest day of the year, nine Union Climate Connectors volunteered to brave the cold in Canberra to attend 56 meetings with politicians and advisors from all parties and all backgrounds in their parliamentary offices.

Their mission: to let the pollies know Australians want strong climate policy on the agenda in the 2010 federal election. Alongside members of the the Al-Gore trained Climate Project - Australia and the Australian Youth Climate Coalition, our delegates represented a vast proportion of the public of Australia. Great work delegates!

In 2009 Connectors achieved a great deal in such a short time, and began to make a difference in their workplaces, homes and communities.
